Parents, Guardians and Students, The PA Department of Education has announced that the school closure for students has been extended until at least April 9. We have some conflicting messages on the actual return date for students, however, it is clear that the shutdown will continue beyond the initial two-week closure. To provide continuity of education for our students please prepare to begin online instruction on Monday, March 30. The Principals will be in touch with you later this week with further details and more information. Thank you.
Parents and Guardians. To help minimize the amount of trips and exposure for both parents and staff, we will be altering our lunch and breakfast distribution schedule. Starting tomorrow, Monday March 23, 2020, we will begin handing out meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only. We will hand out double meals on Monday and Wednesday to cover the days in between. On Friday we will hand out triple meals to cover the weekend. You can pick up the meals between 11:30 - 12:30 at the High School, Breezewood Elementary and the old Mann Monroe Elementary. Thank You.
The FBLA gob fundraiser that was due tomorrow has been moved to April 1st.
Good Evening, It has been brought to our attention that there is some questions about the enforcement of book bags, coats/jackets, and hats. We have been policing this throughout the year and recently the issue has been brought to the forefront. In the handbook under hair and dress number 10, students are allowed to bring them but need placed in lockers in the morning. This is a safety concern. No punishments have been given yet just warnings. We have lockers available in hallways and the locker rooms and have given extra time in situations that we have deemed necessary. This is strictly informational and this is not a new rule. We encourage you to, as weather gets nicer, to review the student dress with your student. Further questions, please call the high school office at 814.652.9114.
