Dr. Danny R. Webb Superintendent A county native, Dr. Danny R. Webb, was hired as District Superintendent on February 4, 2013. In May 1987 he earned a BS degree in Industrial Arts/Technology Education from California University of PA which was promptly put to use at Chestnut Ridge School District. In December 1995, Danny began to ascend through the ranks of administration after earning a Master’s degree as a Secondary Principal from Shippensburg University of PA. He served as Acting High School Assistant Principal, Middle School Dean of Students and finally Middle School Principal at Chestnut Ridge. In 2002, he moved to the position of Assistant High School Principal at Bedford Area School District. He served in this capacity for five years before becoming High School Principal. In May 2007, Danny earned his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility; and in January 2008, he achieved doctorate status in Education Administration. Both milestones were achieved through Duquesne University. In 2010 Bedford Area School District appointed Dr. Webb to the position of Assistant Superintendent. He retained that post until becoming commissioned as Superintendent of Schools for our District. Dr. Webb has utilized his educational knowledge in many different facets throughout the years. He has performed the duties of safe schools coordinator, staff & curriculum coordinator and PSSA & Keystone testing coordinator. In addition, he has been a supervisor of principals, special education and student services as well as a homeless liaison & residency officer. He provides the District solid financial leadership through experience with budgeting, grant writing, transportation, employment hiring and staff job placement. James Hollis Assistant Superintendent Mr. Jim Hollis was appointed Assistant Superintendent in 2013. He has worked for the district since 1999. Since that time he has held the positions of: Substitute, Business teacher, Dean of Students, Middle School Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He received certification to teach Business Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2006 he attained his K-12 Principal's certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2010 he completed his Master's degree in 21st Century Education, from Wilkes University. In December of 2012 he completed his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Edinboro University. Mr. Hollis has two children and is very active in the community. Justin Hillegas Elementary Principal Mr. Justin Hillegas, who is an Everett Area School District graduate, was appointed Principal of the Everett Elementary Schools in November 2009. Mr. Hillegas received his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University in 2002. In 2004, he received his Principal's Certification from Gannon University. Mr. Hillegas has worked for the school district since 2000. In that time, he has held the positions of Elementary Talented/Gifted Teacher, District Data Coach, Blended Schools Coordinator, and Everett Elementary Head Teacher. Mr. Hillegas has two children and enjoys spending time in the community with his family. Jonathan Donelson High School Principal Mr. Jonathan Donelson, long time teacher and a graduate of Everett High School, was hired as the Everett High School Principal in 2005. Mr. Donelson graduated from California University of PA in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences with certifications in earth/space science and safety/driver education. Mr. Donelson has completed his Principal's K-12 certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also has completed a Master's of Science in Education from Wilkes University. Mr. Donelson enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with his wife and two children. He believes that nothing motivates a child more than when school, family, and community working in partnership together value learning. Leigh Anne Gronborg Director of Special Education Programs and Services Mrs. Leigh Anne Gronborg has been employed by the district since 1990. Prior to moving to the area she was employed at Intermediate Unit #5 in Erie County. While working at the district, Mrs. Gronborg has been a Learning Support Teacher at the high school, teacher of the gifted and talented K-12, Curriculum Coordinator and data coach. Presently, she is the Director of Special Education, Gifted Education and ESL Education. Mrs. Gronborg graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and a Supervisor of Special Education Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. In her spare time, Mrs. Gronborg is very active in the community volunteering with various organizations and spending time with her husband and three children. Rebecca Pupo Middle School Principal Miss Rebecca Pupo was appointed to the position of Middle School Principal on May 18, 2012. Prior to this achievement she served as Assistant Middle School principal from October 2011 through May 2012. She began working for the Everett Area School District in January 2010 serving as District Data Coach, Gifted/Talented Teacher and Head Teacher at Everett Elementary. Prior to working at Everett, Miss Pupo worked at Marion Center School District in Indiana County serving as the At-risk Student Advisor and Dean of Students at both the middle and high school levels. She holds a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification from Saint Francis University. Miss Pupo enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips with her nieces and nephews. She looks forward to getting to know and becoming very active in the Everett community. Rita Steele Educational Technology Specialist As of July 1, 2005 Mrs. Rita Steele has been working as an Educational Technology Specialist for the Everett Area School District (EASD). Prior to working as an Education Technology Specialist, she worked for the EASD as a Technology Coordinator for 3 years. Mrs. Steele holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Juniata College, where she majored in Computer Science and minored in Information Technology. She currently holds a Pennsylvania Department of Education Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate. Mrs. Steele is a member of the International Society for Technology in Education and the Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology. Last Modified on May 1, 2013
