The Mission Statement of the Everett Area School District states that "with community cooperation the District is committed to providing a quality education preparing students to be productive and responsible citizens."  One of the paths to support this mission is to provide the students with a meaningful and effective curriculum.

The District plans to revise each curricular discipline in a regular cycle to ensure that our students are receiving and will continue to receive a quality education which prepares them to be productive and responsible citizens.

During the 2011-2012 school year, the staff of the Everett Area School District began to examine, map and evaluate the Math Curriculum.  Beginning in January, a dedicated team of educators met regularly to create curriculum documents that will be implemented during the 2012-2013 school year for the purpose of evaluation and revisions to the document.  The Math Curriculum team consisted of teachers from each grade level in addition to special education personnel. You may view these maps by clicking the math curriculum maps tab in the navigation pane to the left.

As stated during the 2012-2013 school year, the Math curriculum will be implemented and the process for examining the Science content area will begin.  This is a five-year cycle which is posted below.  If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher or building administrator.
