Mrs. Ramsey was hired as Everett Area High School (HS) Principal on July 18, 2013 and began working for the District in September 2013. She is a lifelong resident of Fulton County and a graduate of Central Fulton School District. She successfully earned educational credentials from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and Shippensburg University. Christina feels highly honored to have been given the opportunity to utilize her administrative experience and professional training in the role of HS Principal at our rural community school.
In May of 2000, Mrs. Ramsey earned her B.S. Degree in Music Education at IUP. She used those talents at Juniata Valley School District in the capacity of an elementary music teacher and choreographer until July 2006. She also worked as the HS Musical Director at Central Fulton School District from April 2004 – July 2009. In July 2006, Mrs. Ramsey accepted a K – 6 music position at Shippensburg School District (SSD). Additionally, upon earning a MA Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Shippensburg University in May 2009, she served SSD as Coordinator for the Study Island Remediation Program, administered PSSA testing and was Chairman for the Character Counts Program. In August 2009, she attained K – 12 Principal Certification from Shippensburg and immediately put it to use at Forbes Road School District as the High School Principal (Grades 7-12). In the Spring of 2013, Mrs. Ramsey was named the K-12 Principal of the Forbes Road School District.
Through her career at Forbes, Mrs. Ramsey led professional staff development, handled teacher/staff evaluations, dealt with budgeting, carried out student discipline and monitored PIMS reporting. She has been trained in Bullying Prevention, embraced the Student Assistance Program (SAP), served as a truancy officer, implemented college programs at Alleghany College of Maryland for sophomores, juniors and seniors, worked as a Data Analysis Coach and implemented a Differentiated Supervision Program for teachers. Her educational background and employment have been anchored in reading, mathematics, curriculum writing and leadership.
Mrs. Ramsey is a proven school leader who uses her administrative experiences, professional training and passion for learning to foster an environment of success for all students while nurturing cooperativeness and futuristic thinking with staff and the community. Presently, she is working on furthering her career pursuits by working on a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility through Shippensburg University.
Mrs. Laurie Criswell, MS Principal

Mrs. Criswell was hired for the position of Everett Area Middle School (MS) Principal on August 14, 2014. She is native to Bedford County graduating from Chestnut Ridge High School. Laurie graduated Summe Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to further her professional career as an administrator through Shippensburg University.
In 1997, Mrs. Criswell earned her B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh. She used her educational training to teach students in grades K, 4 and 5 for approximately 23 years at Chestnut Ridge School District. Her passion and love for educating students led her to make the decision to further the role she would play in education. She enrolled in a Masters of Education Plan at Shippensburg University attaining the degree in 1993. Mrs. Criswell is currently attending classes at Shippensburg University to obtain her Superintedent's Letter.
In 2011, Laurie embarked on her first opportunity to advance administratively when she chose to serve as Interim Assistant HS Principal at Chestnut Ridge. Shortly therafter, she was hired by Tussey Mountain School District as the Elementary Principal. She held this post until 2012 when she accepted the position of Elementary Principal for Claysburg Kimmel. She found these opportunities very rewarding, but kindled the desire to work for a larger school district. In August 2014, she was afforded that opportunity and assumed the role of MS Principal with our District. The District welcomes her positive, devoted, motivatational leadership style to its administrative team.
Throughout her career as a principal, Mrs. Criswell served as a Truancy Officer managing truancy issues and developing a Truancy Elimination Plan. She also managed PSSA testing, analyzed student performance data, conducted staff professional development, evaluated staff, served as LEA for Individual Educational Programs, aligned curriculum, monitored Blended Schools Online programming, dealt with budgeting and handled student discipline as well as a myriad of other tasks.
Mrs. Criswell is a highly motivated, dedicated school leader who embraces the notion that you can never stop learning. Through her life experiences as both a teacher and administrator, she looks forward to engaging students, parents and the community in learning for a lifetime!
Mrs. Criswell resides in Bedford County with her husband and son. She enjoys visiting her daughter in Arizona as well as kayaking, reading, hiking, biking, long walks, water skiing, and just embracing living life to its fullest!
Mrs. Michelle Webb, MS/HS Head Teacher

Mrs. Michelle Webb was born and raised in Bedford County and is a Chestnut Ridge graduate. She was hired in November 2003 as a Social Studies /gifted teacher at Everett Area Middle/High School. She is a graduate of UPJ with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies. She earned her Master’s Degree from Shippensburg State University in Educational Administration in 2007. Then she continued on at Indiana University of Pennsylvania to get her Pennsylvania Certification as a Principal K-12 in 2011. Mrs. Webb filled in as a interim High School Principal in 2011 and 2012 and became the Head Teacher of both the Middle and High school in 2013.
Mrs. Webb resides in Bedford with her husband and three children.
